Hiking in the Madeira Levadas with gourmet pic-nic
The challenge was set: a distinguished group of business men travelling to Madeira wanting to enjoy the islands’ tranquility to discuss ideas and concepts, but at the same time wanting to enjoy Madeira’s most unique activities while still not getting too much out of their comfort zone, as there were some elderly citizens in the group. The answer became then clear! Let’s enjoy Madeira’s famous “levadas” hiking trails starting at the door of the Hotel with their own private hiking guide and jeep. For lunch the challenge was set again as there were no restaurants in the area… So we’ve decided to take the restaurant to them in a carefully prepared gourmet pic-nic where everyone could enjoy some of Madeira’s finest delicacies!
Bike ride along the oceanfront
"We want an exciting activity that allows our consultants to relax after three days of conferences." Our client, a French pharmaceutical multinational, had come to Lisbon for a congress. It was our starting point: after several days closed in meetings in a five-star hotel in the city center, we thought that nothing would be better than to take them out of the bustle of the city to a breathtaking outdoor activity. But it could not be any experience. We wanted to find "the right" activity that will boost personal relationships among the guests and would be a real breath of fresh air. Something that would fit the philosophy of the company and they would remember forever. We were in June and the Tour de France was running.... Since it is a big happening with a great tradition there, we have decided to bring to Portugal this sporting event with more than 100 years of history, adding a touch of originality: the magnificent landscapes of Portugal with a memorable journey! We took into account that the objective here was not the difficulty of the race, but the memory left in each participant. Riding in one of the most beautiful coastal areas of Portugal, the coast of Cascais, is surely an experience not to be missed. The day started by shuttling out along the famous Avenida Marginal, a coastal road that connects Lisbon and the estuary of the Tejo river to Cascais. The start of the itinerary began facing one of the most beautiful beaches in the area: the Guincho Beach, one of the most famous in the world for windsurfing. The bike ride continued for 8.5km alongside the Atlantic with plenty of opportunities for pictures. At the end of the ride, already in the city of Cascais, the team was able to enjoy a well-earned lunch in one of the most beautiful restaurants of this quiet fishing village.
